Founder
Jason Choo is the Executive Chairman of Lonsdale Capital Pte Ltd, his family office, where he oversees a diverse portfolio of investments world-wide. He has over 25 years of investing and operational experience in public and private equity, technology, venture funding, alternative investments and bond/distressed debt. Jason is Canadian having grown up in Vancouver, British Columbia but has resided in Singapore since 1994. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics focused on International Trade and Finance from Colorado College. Jason believes there is a necessity to capitalize on advancements in technologies to efficiently and equitably connect the base of the pyramid markets to the rest of the world. Jason is the founder of Lonsdale Social Innovation Capital. Its mission is to create opportunities for the lowest income families to have sustainable and elevated livelihoods. Its growing portfolio of social enterprises is helping create a sustainable ecosystem, spurring growth in the social economy, raising incomes and alleviating poverty of all forms.

Arif Firmansyah

Arif is a social impact enthusiast, with experience across local and national organizations, NGOs, multinational companies, universities and schools of CSR. Having worked working in Oil and Gas, real estate and fintech industries, covering all of Indonesia, Arif’s expertise lies in market entry, managing partners and business development. Currently pursuing a doctoral program in Sustainable Development at Trisakti University, Indonesia, Arif has a background in Psychology & Management.
Given his educational and professional background, having worked both on a global platform and at the grassroots level, Arif is enthusiastic and confident to effect impactful change in marginalised communities across Indonesia by putting into practise his learnings on sustainable financing, social investment & innovation, socio-preneurship, and poverty alleviation.
Idelia Illona
Business Development Executive - Indonesia
Idelia is a graduate from the University of Sunderland (MDIS) with a Bachelor's degree in International Tourism & Hospitality Management. She has worked across diverse industries in Indonesia. After her graduation, Idelia worked in Bali for 2 years in the construction and tourism industry. She has also worked at the Apple Developer Academy (BSD) team as a marketing section head, with focus on developing program content, directing social media, and taking on special projects.
Idelia loves to meet and interact with people within the community and strives to create a meaningful impact with all beneficiaries. Idelia is also a consultant to a homegrown Indonesian paint company, a project coordinator for a local NGO, and also a part-time CrossFit athlete.
